Join the excitement of this musical extravaganza, featuring a cast of over 70 talented young actors, handpicked through auditions. Leading the cast are Giles Rooney as The Cat in the Hat, Michela Caruana as Mayzie La Bird, Gabriel Magro as Horton the Elephant, Michela Deguara as Gertrude, Lucia Mifsud as Sour Kangaroo, Beppe Caruana as JoJo, Jamie Sciberras as Mr. Mayor, and Lacey Vella as Mrs. Mayor.

Seussical Jr., conceived by Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Eric Idle, is based on the magical stories of Dr. Seuss. The show combines a variety of musical styles—ranging from Latin and pop to swing, gospel, R&B, and funk—creating a fantastical journey through Seuss’s world.

The musical tells the heartwarming story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a tiny world living on a speck of dust—the Whos—and takes on the challenge of protecting them despite disbelief and obstacles. Along his journey, he meets Gertrude McFuzz, a loyal bird who helps him along the way. Seussical Jr. is a vibrant, family-friendly show that celebrates friendship, kindness, and acceptance.

Direction of this musical is in the hands of Hannah Gatt, musical direction by Eleonora Zammit, and choreography is by Valerie Burke. Costume design is by Simona Mamo.
